Nora Ellen Crisp

Nora Ellen Crisp passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the age of 73 in Waterford, CA.
Nora was born on February 21, 1941 in Nevada, Missouri, to the late Orville and Bertha (Burris) Bayne. At the age of two, Nora moved California with her family while her father served in the US Navy. She attended Ceres High School.
Nora was united in marriage to Franklin D. "Frank" Crisp on November 12, 1987 in Reno, NV. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waterford, CA.
Nora was a supervisor for Weyerhaeuser and retired after 27 years of service.
Among her special interests, Nora enjoyed gardening, animals, the outdoors and her involvement in the family football pool.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lois Ables and Orva Lynn Roberts; her sons, Donald M. Sroufe, Jr., Franklin D. Crisp, Jr. and Curtis Lee Crisp, Sr.
Nora is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Frank Crisp of Waterford, CA; her children, Donna (Mark) Moore of Turlock, CA, Loree (Ron) Kerttula of Smith River, CA, David (Shawnda) Sroufe of Turlock, CA, Brian (Shelby) Crisp of Mansfield, TX; and her sister, Joann Bayne of Nevada, MO. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nora loved and was loved and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Nora's Life will be held on Saturday, July, 2014 at a family's residence in Waterford.
