Vangy Reynosa

Vangy Maria Reynosa passed away on December 12 in Modesto.  She was 70 years old.  Vangy was born on August 1, 1943 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Florenco and Juanita Mora.  
She has been a resident of the Modesto area for many years. Vangy worked for several years for Salida Union School district as a food service cook.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family.  She will be dearly missed. Vangy leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Joe Reynosa, her children: Darlene Rodin, Kathy Lopez,  Annette Dominguez, Joe Jr. Reynosa, Ted Reynosa, Kim Reynosa, Tim Reynosa, Lisa Reynosa all of Modesto, and Linda Sobieraj of Lakeport. She also leaves behind her siblings John Mora of Modesto, Gilbert More of Turlock, Chris Dorame of Las Vegas; as well as 31 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Juanita and Florenco Mora, her son Timothy Kevin Reynosa, and her siblings Tommy Mora, Frank Mora and Betty Lopez.
Franklin and Downs is honored to be serving the Reynosa family. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday December 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home, McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto. A funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, December 19th at 9:30 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Rd., Modesto, with committal to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
