I am sorry that I cannot come today for the service. I met Grace when she and Nino were building the house on Santa Fe. I stopped by and met Nino who was talking with the contractor. I gave him my business card and told him I was a neighbor and had a window coverings business He grave the card to Grace and we ended up doing the window coverings for their home. We became friends after that. She and I became walking buddies, walking every day through the orchards. I was in Soroptimists with her in Hughson and she went with me to Bible Studies for a time. I am happy that I spoke with her recently by phone but I regret that I didn't make the time to go to lunch with her. We said we would do that soon, but we lost that opportunity. She didn't say she was ill. If I had know, I would have made a point to get to Hughson to see her. I send my condolences to the family. She will be missed.
