Ymelda Lozano

Ymelda Lozano passed away on July 15, 2014 in Modesto at the age of 81.  Ymelda was born on September 16, 1932 in Romita, GTO, Mexico to Federico & Guadalupe Rodriguez.  In 1950 Ymelda and her family immigrated to The United States and she has been a resident of the Modesto area for the past 32 years.
Ymelda was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family with all her heart.  She had many friends and also the staff of Casa De Modesto that cared for her until her passing.  She loved the Lord and his Blessed Mother and constantly prayed the rosary for her entire family daily.  She was a parishioner at St. Joseph's and belonged to the Auxiliary of Legion of Mary.
Ymelda leaves behind her children:  Olga Hibl (Douglas) of Midway, Utah, and Edgar Lozano of Modesto, her grandchildren: Robert Hibl (Dawn) of Park City, Utah, Raymond Hibl (Karen) of Midway, Utah  along with her great grandchildren: Sierra Hibl, Anton Hibl, McKinley Hibl, Jack Hibl, and Bella Hibl and her siblings: Carlos Rodriquez of Romita, Mexico and Eloisa Farias of Tracy, CA.  Ymelda is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Lozano and her son Edward Lozano.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Franklin & Downs Funeral Home.  A Rosary is scheduled for Sunday, July 20 at 6:00 PM at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel and a funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, July 21 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Modesto.  Committal will follow at Holy Sepulchre  Cemetery in Hayward at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ymelda's name may be made to the Sisters of the Cross
