Wanda Holly

Wanda was one of twelve children born in Oklahoma to Roy and Lydia Spurlock. She enjoyed belonging to a large family. She loved spending time with all of them, especially her sisters.
She was a long time resident of Modesto and Ceres. She married Floyd Dee Holly Jr. in 1954, a marriage that lasted 55 years. They had three children, Kim, Floyd III, and Tony. Wanda was a housewife and worked at several food processing plants in the area. She enjoyed cooking(best chili beans ever), gardening, making quilts (which will keep us all warm for many years), casinos and family.
She is preceded in death by parents, Roy and Lydia Spurlock, brothers, Bob, Bill, Jay and Jerry Spurlock, sisters, Inez Journey and Dellene Victorine, husband, Floyd Dee Holly Jr.
She is survived by sisters, Betty Savage and Linda Jones, brothers, Terry and Larry Spurlock. Her children, Kim (Bill) Tanner, Floyd Dee Holly III, Tony (Robin) Holly, grandchildren, Manon, Nichelle, Courtney, Ethan, Christopher, Dane, Kara and six beautiful great-grandchildren.
Her children would especially like to thank Linda Jones, Bethel Assisted Living, and Community Hospice for the special love and care that was given to our mother.
She was loved and will be missed.
Service is being taken care of by Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel (no visitation). Graveside service will be Friday, December 14, Burwood Cemetery at 11:00 am.
