Vioma Marie Wilson, 84, passed away Tuesday, September 21st in Modesto, California. She was born January 29, 1937 in Santa Barbara, California to parents Mercerita Nelson and Marion Heeter and was a resident of Manteca for 65 years. Vioma graduated from High School in 1956 and did clerical work for a bank for 20 years.
Life may not have been easy for Vioma, but she cared deeply for her children; she worked various jobs over the years to support them and was a jack-of-all-trades. She loved working in her garden, watching NASCAR and rooting for the ‘49ers. Mom will be missed by all of us.
Vioma was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Tina Valenzuela, and siblings, Donald Thomas, Daniel Thomas, and Johnny Heeter. She is survived by her children, Richard Valenzuela of Manteca, CA, Ronald Valenzuela of Miller Creek, NC, Pam Valenzuela of Porterville, CA, Randy Valenzuela of Georgia, Daniel Valenzuela of French Camp, CA, Tammy Dorville of Loveland, CO, and Donald Hall of Manteca, CA; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandkids; and sister, Mary Parreira of Sonora.
