Tonya Leadford

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Tonya Leadford left this world unexpectedly on Jan. 23, 2021. She was born in California. on Oct. 19, 2001.

Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, David Wayne & Tonya Leadford.  She is survived by her siblings, Emily, Catherine, and David Leadford. Tonya loved animals and hoped to one day work with a Veterinarian. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, contagious laugh, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. 

When you think of Tonya, celebrate the good memories you have of her; flying down the mountain at Brian Head with a smile on her face; sliding through the waves on her kneeboard at Sand Hollow; Contemplating the next puzzle piece; or mesmerized by the birds she fed on her windowsill.  Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
