Shelby J Wilburn

Shelby Jean Wilburn, 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Modesto, CA with her family by her side. Shelby was born in Telephone, TX on July 25, 1938 to John Floyd and Della Roach.
Shelby is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Wilburn, her daughter, Melanie Lilley, her three sisters, and her parents John and Della. She is survived by her children, Jack Lilley, and Tara Hackett. She is also survived by her grandson Jarred Hackett and her two great-grandchildren.
Shelby was a resident of Modesto, CA for 60 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and playing cards with friends. Shelby and Ralph were members of the Escalon First Baptist Church for the past 7 years and enjoyed attending services there on the weekends. She was an excellent mother and housewife. She always made sure the house was immaculate and that her kids had everything they needed and were happy. The world was a better place because she was in it; she will be missed by all of her dear family and friends.
