Ronald William Perkins

Ron W. Perkins passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 73. Ronald was born on July 16, 1944 in Quincy, IL to parents Wilbur and Evelyn Perkins, whom have preceded him in death. Ronald is survived by his wife of 33 years, Toni Perkins; children Michael Odom of Manteca, Ca., Jamie Odom of Modesto, Ca., Michael Perkins of Dayton, Oh., and Shannon Uselton of Barling, Ar.; siblings Richard Perkins of Hot Springs, Ar., Kim Perkins of Lombard, Il., and Kevin Perkins; grandchildren Jacob Odom, Nicholas Odom, Jonathon Mitchell and CarolAnn Teter.
Ronald met Toni at Parents Without Partners and were married within eight months of meeting. They raised their children together and had four wonderful grandchildren. Ronald's hobbies included gambling, reading and working on model cars. He loved cruises, the Caribbean and Hawaii. His dogs brought so much joy to Ronald's life.
Franklin and Downs Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Perkins' Family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 1:00pm at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, Ca. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Road, Modesto, Ca.
