Robert Krebs

Robert Krebs passed away on May 5, 2018 at the age of 97 in Salida, Ca.  He was born on January 19, 1921 in Cleveland, OH to parents Frank and Helen Krebs.  Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ann Krebs; parents, Frank and Helen Krebs; daughter, Nancy Cmarik-Dyke; siblings, Agnus Bartkus and Elizabeth Seljan; grandchildren, Ryan Krebs and Benjamin Krebs.  He is survived by children, Gregory (Patty) Krebs and Robert Krebs; grandchildren Daniel, Kenneth, Rebecca, and Charles Krebs and Sean and David Cmarik and Lisa Formica; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Robert was a veteran with the US Coast Guard.  He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan.

Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to serve the Krebs Family.  A service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4212 Dale Road, Modesto, CA on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 10:00am.  A graveside service will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00am.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans and Holy Family Building Fund.
