Robert Joe Crabtree

Robert (Bob) Crabtree, 83 was born in Illinois to Ruby and Sam Rodandello  Bob married Irene H. Crabtree December 18, 1965.  They lived together in Muncie, Connersville, and Terre Haute, Indiana before moving to Modesto in 1970 so Irene could enjoy the warmer climate.  His two favorite jobs were working for Paul M. Zagaris and Tiechert Construction where he enjoyed entertaining everyone. His smile was contagious and he always found a way to making sure everyone else was having their best day possible.  Bob retired in 2006 so he could spend more time with his wife and family. 

Bob loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed their visits and attending their sports and school activities.  When Bob’s kids were young he never missed an event.  He always found a way to rearrange everything to be there for his kids.  As sporting events began to wrap up Bob enjoyed playing poker and attending social hour with his friends.  He also loved spending time with Cindy Riddle and he will always hold a place in his heart for her.

Those grateful for having shared his life:  his wife(deceased), Irene H. Crabtree;  companion, Cindy Riddle;  daughter, Elizabeth (Scott) Stehle – grandchildren Brooke and Megan, Modesto, CA;  daughter, Karen (Matt) Winblade, grandchildren – Garrett and Kylie, Sioux Falls, SD; father and mother (deceased), Ruby and Sam Rodandello.
