Lifelong Modesto resident, Ralph Irvin Hobbs passed away Friday, April 22nd at the age of 58. He was born May 23, 1963 to parents, Clyde and Anna Hobbs in San Jose. He worked in construction for mobile homes for ten years.
Ralph enjoyed to fishing, camping, working on old cars, and going to garage sales. He loved to be with his family and go out to eat. Most of all, he loved spending time with his two grandkids, Avani and King.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Angela Danette Hobbs; their children, Danny Franklin Hobbs, Jake Ralph Hobbs, and Hanna Yvonne Hobbs; his grandchildren, Avani Danette Brown and Kingston Patrick James Brown, all of Modesto; siblings, Viola Brooks of Medford, OR, Helen Smith of White City, OR, Clyde “Pete” Hobbs of Modesto, and Geraldine Stewart of Hilmar, and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Ave, in Modesto. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin & Downs, followed by interment at Pioneer Cemetery, 905 Scenic Dr, in Modesto.
