Phillip Bradford (Brad) Schmidt Jr. age 51, of Waterford, CA passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday June 19, 2021. Brad was born to Phillip and Kandis (Kandy) Schmidt on August 21, 1969. He spent most of his life working on the family ranch along with his father and brother. He was very mechanical and had the ability to fix anything. He loved working on equipment and was an excellent operator.

Life was never dull with Brad around. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, leaving no stone unturned. He was funny, kind, and mischievous, our very own “Dennis the Menace”!

He loved his many friends and family, and he was never without his dog, Oreo. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything. He had a special place in his heart for his uncle and aunt, Barney and Jeri Roen.

He is survived by his 3 children, Ashlyn, Bryce, and Tristan and 6 grandchildren, Paisley, Roen, Nash, Aspen, Ryker, and Madden, as well as his beloved nieces and nephews. His parents Phillip and Kandy Schmidt. Siblings Holly (Grant) Smith, Gretchen (James) Gragg, and Jacob Schmidt.

A private memorial service will be held at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
