Phillip Heim

Phillip Owen Heim died suddenly and tragically on 17 May 2021. Phil was born on Long Island, NY on 03 March 1953. He attended Seaford High School, subsequently serving in the US Navy Submarine Force as a nuclear trained Machinist Mate. After completing his enlistment, Phil moved to Mariposa, CA and obtained his law degree.  He also earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from CW Post College (now part of Long Island University).  He enjoyed living a quiet life surrounded by the natural beauty of California, taking great pleasure caring for his home and surroundings.  He filled his time pursuing his passions for riding his motorcycles along with working in his machine shop manufacturing and customizing metal parts. Phil was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart.  Unassuming, gifted, compassionate, intelligent, and possessing a quick bright wit, he was always there to offer a helping hand to friends in need, and took much joy in discoursing with world wide web friends on the finer points of constitutional law.   He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother, Rita, father, Paul, and his sister Mary Beth.  He is survived by his step-mother, Mary; his siblings Alicia, Paula and Paul II; his nieces and nephews; and his cousins.  He was very fond of his Crawford cousins as they were of him.
