Pedro Marco Martinez, Jr.

Pedro Marco Martinez, Jr., passed away November 6, 2018 after battling a long illness. He was born August 7, 1949 in Texas to Pedro and Florence Martinez and has been a resident of Stanislaus County the last 30 years. Pedro was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and reached the rank of Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was always a caring, positive, and happy person throughout his life. Pedro loved fishing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and playing guitar; he would even reach out the homeless in the area, make friends and play guitar for them.  He is someone who will be truly missed by many.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Elizabeth Martinez. He is survived by his partner, Patricia Villela; children, Laura, Marty, and Jeremiah; siblings, Ricky, Becky, Lisa, Casey, and Brian; niece, Lynette; five grandchildren, and many more family and friends.

Services for Pedro are private, with interment to take place at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
