Pauline Carreau

Pauline Carreau passed away on Sunday, September 16th after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Carreau; parents, William Bloomingcamp and Regina Schaefer; and two brothers, Bill Bloomingcamp and George Bloomingcamp.

Pauline Bloomingcamp met Warren Carreau in the Bay Area when he was in the Army stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco and she was attending college at UC Berkley. They met through their love of folk dancing and music appreciation, which was an important element through the remainder of their lives. After marriage and a brief stay on the east coast, they relocated to Modesto where Pauline worked as an elementary school teacher.

Pauline is survived by her son David Carreau, his wife Tianne and their sons, Brandon and Jonathon, and by her daughter Regina Camack and her two sons, Brett and Matt.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 1pm-4pm at Bethel Retirement Community, 2345 Scenic Dr, Modesto.
