Nadia Angelika Olson

Nadia was born in Hanau, Germany 40 years ago. When she was 4 years old, she moved to California with her parents.  She died in her room in the arms of her Father with her Mother by her side, with all the things she enjoyed.  Nadia was sent from God as a special child. She loved Pepsi, Ice Cream, Hugs and Kisses, her Momma and Daddy and her Rainbow Brite Dolls.  She had a great love for Music, especially John Denver, Johnny Cash, John Lennon and many German songs.  She also loved car rides and bubble baths.  Nadia was greatly loved and taught us about Love, Kindness and Patience.  Most of her life she attended special education schools.  For the last 13 years she attended Community Training (Howard Training Center), where she had many friends and loving caretakers – especially Tonya J. whom Nadia adored. Nadia was a perfect angel on earth with a beautiful smile, her middle name being Angelika. Our little girl is dancing with the angels now, in a perfect body and free of pain, watching over us. We know how lucky we were that God trusted us with one of his most precious children. Her time with us was too short and words cannot express our loss.

She is survived by her parents, Maria Olson Kotowski of Modesto and Mike Kotowski of Lake Don Pedro; her beloved grandmother (Oma) Agnes Rieth; uncle Theo Rieth; aunt Gabi Rieth; cousins Eva and Christoph Rieth, all of Germany, the Olson Family and the Kotowski Family. She was preceded by her grandparents Aub and Annette Olson; grandfather (Opa) Alois Rieth, grandpa Walt Kotowski and several uncles.

A memorial honoring Nadia’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, Ca.
