Myrlan Jean Davisson

Myrlan Jean Davisson was born in Wichita, KS to loving parents Joseph and Ruth Slate. Jean was a resident of California since 1927, attended Modesto public schools, and graduated from Modesto High in 1944. On Oct. 15, 1944 Jean married Glen H. Davisson in Empire, CA. From 1946 to 1982 Jean and Glen resided in Covina, CA where she later retired from Covina-Valley School District. While in Covina Jean was a member of Glendora Church of the Brethren until her return to Stanislaus County where she attended Empire Church of the Brethren.

Jean is survived by one brother, Robert Slate. She was preceded in death by her brother Stanford Slate and her sisters: Jo Ann Hitts, Mary Edith Givens, and Janet Ruth Watson.

A Committal service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Acacia Memorial Park, 801 Scenic Dr, Modesto, CA.
