Michael Emery Adams
March 16, 1953 – November 13, 2020
Michael Emery Adams departed this earth and into the loving arms of his Savior on November 13, 2020.
Michael Adams was born March 16, 1953 in Stockton California to Gerald and Joyce Adams. He has many stories about “Mikey getting into trouble” as a child that he loved to tell his children and grandchildren.
He met the love of his life, Karen, on June 5, 1973 at Jury Duty and married her four months later. They went on to have 6 children. Mike could accomplish anything he put his mind to. He would do anything he had to in order to take care of his family. His wife and children were his number one priority. He loved picking new hobbies and always gave them his all. He was the strongest, smartest, yet most humble man. He loved Jesus Christ above all else and considered Him his best friend. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
His interests included his family, his dogs, the scriptures, HAM radio, reading, trains, clocks, guns, knives, coins, talking to people on elevators, going on walks and day trips with his wife, watching his grandchildren grow, and serving food to the homeless. When he found something that interested him, he learned all he could about it until he became an expert. He always had the answer to any question his wife or children asked him until the day he left this earth. His greatest joy and accomplishment was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen Adams; his children: Steve Adams of Modesto, Mike and Liz Adams of Oakley, Stacy and Shawn Schaefer on Olalla, WA, Jennica Adams of Modesto, Cindy and Matt Lockett of Modesto, Joe and Jessica Adams of Delhi; and 38 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
There is now a giant void in the world. He will be greatly missed.
Private family services will be held on Tuesday, November 24 at Stockton Rural Cemetery.
