Maxine Beck, Reineke, Holman, Tosello, Swan, Simas was an energetic person who lived to be almost 102 years of age. She was born to Mabel and Rodney Beck March 22, 1916 in Baldwin, Kansas. Maxine was preceded in death by them, her husbands and her brothers Kenneth, Curtis (and wife Helen), daughter Judith Reineke, and grandson Robert Cain.
Remaining a daughter Maurine Cain (and husband Richard) of Saint Jo, TX. Granddaughters Karen Tegeler (and husband John) of McKinney, TX and Tammy Hawkins (and husband David) of Columbia, MO. Great grandchildren are Katy Shorey (husband Ben) of MA, Matthew Hawkins of OH, Zachary Hawkins of MO, Cameron Hawkins of MO, and Jacqueline Cain Caldwell of TX.
Her step-daughters are Carol Hill and Judie (and husband Johnny) Noffsinger, their children Chuck (and wife Jenny) step-grandson Adrian, and Heather (and husband Troy) LeDonne, step-grandsons Tony and Taylor. A niece Gloria (and husband Manny) Bosques of Sacramento, niece Joan (and husband Harold) Crumpley of Modesto. Nephews Richard, Jim (and wife Kathy), Jaritt, Wayne (and wife Kim), Steve (and wife Cathy) of Modesto, Kenneth (and partner Andy) of San Francisco, Allen (and wife Lorrie) of Clovis, and all of their children.Maxine was active in the Paradise Square Dance Club, Riverbank Seniors Club, the Forever Dance Club, and the Golden Ages Dance Club. She was known for her watercolors & beading. Maxine spent her last 10 years at the Samaritan Village in Hughson, CA.
Maxine said " I have loved and been loved by my family and friends. And now it's time to say goodbye for now because it's time I travel alone. I gave you my love and you can only guess how much you gave me happiness. So grieve for me awhile if you must but only a while. It's only for a while that we must be apart, so bless the memories we had. And then when it's time for you to come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and open arms."
A memorial service for Maxine Holman will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, Jan. 6th, 2018 in the Chapel at Samaritan Village, Hughson, CA.
