Mary Edith Taylor

Mary Edith Wagoner (Webb) Taylor, passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 97.  She was born on September 4, 1924 in Rio Oso CA to J.P. and Esther Wagoner.  She is preceded in death by her parents J.P. and Esther, her first husband Edgar Webb and her second husband H.R. Taylor, her son Gerald (Kerrie) of Modesto, and her siblings Jessie Wagoner, James Wagoner and Clifford Wagoner. 
Mary is survived by her children Larry (Marilyn) Webb of Albany OR, Bill (Nancy) Webb of Modesto CA and Steve (Brenda) Webb of Seabrook TX and her daughter-in-law Kerrie Webb of Modesto CA and step daughter Joann Shackleford of MI.  Along with her grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) Sally of Albany OR, Evan Webb of Albany OR, Alexis Webb of Santa Rosa CA, Andrew Webb of Modesto CA, Melissa (Gary) Bielat of Seabrook TX and Tammy (Lou) Calzadillas of Seabrook TX and 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews. 
Mary lived in Greeneville TN for many years as well as Modesto CA, she spent many years in the jewelry sales business, and enjoyed traveling, coin and stamp collecting.  She loved cats, especially Kali.  She was always on the go with her Lunch Bunch and never missed a church service and she was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Modesto CA.  A special thank you to her nieces Marlene and Shirley who visited her weekly.
A service will be held 10:00 am on April 29, 2022 at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home McHenry Chapel, located at 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto CA with burial following at Wood Colony Cemetery, located at 3511 N. Dakota Ave, Modesto CA.  Donations can be made to St. Jude’s or your favorite charity.
