Martin R Ewald

Martin R. Ewald passed away on December 5, 2018 at the age of 82.  He was born in Queens, NY to parents Rudolf and Jesse Ewald.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anita Ewald; children: Lauren Ewald, Darren Ewald and Sabrina Scola; sister, Elaine Kohler; grandchildren: Tiffany Richter, Jason Ewald, Cortney Ewald, Taylor Ewald, Tyler Scola, Amanda Scola and Chloe Scola; three great grandchildren.

Martin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and an aircraft mechanic.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and bowling. He retired from the Civil Service after 30 years of work. Martin will be missed by all who loved him.

Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ewald Family.  A graveside service will be held on January 4, 2019 at 1:00pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella, CA.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude or Wounded Warrior Project.
