Maria Irma Cabrera

Maria Irma Cabrera passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 67. She was born on July 18, 1954 in Benavides, Texas to Hirlin and Victoria Torres. She is preceded in death by her father Hirlin Torres. She is survived by her mother Victoria Torres, her husband of 45 years, Santiago Cabrera, her children James
Cabrera and Graciela Cabrera, her siblings Herlin Torres, Alisema Plancarte, Roland Torres, Maria Victoria Gonzalez and Roberto Torres and her grandchildren Julian Torres, Joaquin Cabrera, Iliana Cabrera, Cassandra Cabrera and Marcelo Cabrera.

Maria enjoyed gardening, photography, coin collecting and deer hunting. She had a passion for curating amazing meals for her loved ones. She took great pride in decorating her home as the seasons changed. Her Christmas decorations "were legendary". She was an electronics technician for 35 years. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus and Holy Family Catholic Churches. She was beyond dedicated to her family. The love she expressed for her grandchildren was immeasurable. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and be remembered for her fierce strength and determination. Although it is heartbreaking to let her go, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace with the Lord.

Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church located at 709 J Street, Modesto Ca at 10:00am, with burial to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery located 3200 N Dakota Ave, Modesto Ca.
