Lillian Rhoda (Penney) Stice

Lillian Rhoda (Penney) Stice passed peacefully away with family members at her side on November 10, 2018, in Modesto, California. She was born on November 26, 1942 in Carbonear, NL Canada to Samuel and Lucy Penney and was the second of twelve children. Her family remembers her as as a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and great-aunt.

Predeceased by her loving husband Francis Howard Stice, parents Samuel and Lucy Penney, sisters May and Joan, and stepdaughter Sharon. Leaving to mourn sons Frank, Howard and Anthony; stepchildren Karen, Wanda and Annette; grandchildren Melissa, Ryan, Darin, Joshua and Patrick; great-grandchildren Haley, Hayden, Nevaeh, Nayomi and Ava; five sisters: Florence (Kevin) Janes, Frances (Robert) Pike, Goldie (Bruce) Baker, Lois (Eldrid) Dean, Judy (Denis) Mulloy; four brothers: Silas (Linda), Calvin (Audrey), Paul, Wade, and brother-in-law Adolph Gosse; brother-in-law and sister in-law Richard and Eva Stice, and sister-in-law Patty Whitaker, as well as many other family members and friends.

Heartfelt thank-you to doctors, nurses, all healthcare providers, Community Hospice staff and volunteers.
