Kevin P Isenhower

Kevin Paul Isenhower, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2019 in Maui, Hawaii. Kevin was born on November 14th, 1971 in Lodi, California to Paul and Evelyn Isenhower. The family moved to Modesto shortly afterwards where Kevin and his older brother Michael were raised. Kevin graduated from Beyer High School in 1989. He married Kimberly Caton on June 25, 1994 in Modesto, California. After high school, he started work as a drafter before becoming a computer systems administrator. He worked in Modesto and the Bay area for a number of years before deciding to change to a career in dentistry. Kevin and his family then moved back to Modesto where he attended Stanislaus State before receiving his dental degree from the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Kevin went into practice with his cousin, Dr. Corey Acree, in Modesto in 2012. Kevin was called to heaven on June 27th, shortly after celebrating his silver anniversary with his loving wife of 25 years, Kim. Family was the most important aspect of his life. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and a true friend to many. He enjoyed woodworking, making craft beers, fishing, reading, podcasts, cooking and perfecting ribs in the smoker. Dearly loved by his patients and coworkers, no one was a stranger to him. He was a great example of Christ’s love, attending New Life Christian Center faithfully. Kevin is survived by his wife, Kim, and their four children, Elizabeth (19), Kathryn (17), Johnathan (12), and William (6); his brother Michael, his wife Jenny and their son Noah, and his Uncle David Isenhower and his wife Colleen. He is also survived by his loving in-laws, Russell and Jolene Caton, their daughter Jennifer DeSanto, her husband Robert, and their children Grace and Mark. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Evelyn Isenhower, his Uncle Jack Kidwell and Uncle Edwin Kidwell and his niece Kortney Isenhower. Visitation services will be from 4-7 pm on Friday, July 5, at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto, CA 95350. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at Shelter Cove Community Church, 4242 Coffee Rd, Modesto, CA 95357. A memorial fund has been set up for Kim and the family.
