Kenneth Roger Karn

Kenneth Roger Karn passed away on June 1, 2022 at the age of 66.  He was born April 15, 1956 in San Francisco CA to Victor and Marie Karn.  He lived in Modesto CA with his wife Valerie of 40 years.  He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Marie Karn and sister Vicki Harris of Presque Isle ME.  He is survived by his wife Valerie Karn of Modesto CA, his children Lisa McDonald of Modesto CA, Rene Baba of San Diego CA, Aaron Karn of Bakersfield CA and Ashley Larocque of Riverbank CA, his siblings Sandra Macless of Volcano HI and Sue Adams of Supulpa OK and his grandchildren Markyta Davis of Modesto CA, Makayla Thompson of Modesto CA, Avery Thompson of Modesto CA, Tanner Larocque of Riverbank CA, Dylan Larocque of Riverbank CA, Aiden Karn of Bakersfield CA, Scarlett Karn of Bakersfield CA, Brielle Karn of Bakersfield CA and Christopher Larocque of Riverbank CA.
Kenneth enjoyed sports, cars, carpentry and loved playing with his grandkids.  He was with Gallo for over 45 years and was the Senior Safety Specialist.  He was dedicated to his family, work and his friendships. He enjoyed teaching and was always willing to lend a hand.  He loved to banter and joke with his friends.  He lived by integrity and moral values and he liked to see people succeed so he encouraged people to do their best.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home and Chapel located at 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto CA from 4:30 – 7:00pm. 
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home and Chapel at 10:00am with burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park located at 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson CA.
