Joyce Elaine Caron

Joyce Elaine (Semone) Caron went to be with our Lord on February 24, 2021 at age 75.  She passed peacefully surrounded by her family.  Joyce attended Thomas Downey High School and graduated in 1963.  After earning her Associates Degree in Horticulture, she worked at Nature’s Own Florist.  Joyce enjoyed creating beautiful floral arrangements for all to enjoy.  She then moved on and worked at, Orangeburg Medical Group as a Disability Insurance Agent, retiring in 2010.  She never missed an opportunity to help in her children’s classrooms.  She loved attending their field trips, and holiday events.

                Joyce loved socializing with family and friends, attending holiday gatherings, loved “Concerts in the Park”, watching fireworks, as well as spending time in San Francisco and Monterey California.  She loved playing her clarinet, planting flowers, cooking for family and friends.  She also enjoyed shopping and picking out special gifts for family and friends that she dearly loved.

                Joyce leaves behind her husband of 52 years Joseph Morice Caron and two children, daughter Jennifer Bingham and son Jared Caron.  As well as, two grandchildren Kayla and Kameron Bingham.  She is survived by her 3 sisters: Janice (Roger) Hasley, Judy (Morris) Smetana, Jill (Jeff) Dunfee, and one brother Jerry, (Moya) Semone.  Joyce was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy.

Her family and friends will miss her Christmas cards each year, enjoying genuine conversations together, her sweet laughter and beautiful smile.  We love and miss you so much mom, God Bless You
