John Augustine Aguirrie was born January 25, 1954 to Antonia Guillen and John Aguirrie. He was preceded in death by his mother Antonia, and aunt Ramona Guillen. He grew up in Denver, Colorado and later moved to San Leandro, Ca with his family at the age of 7. Although Modesto was his home for the last 4 years, he had lived most of his adult life, raising his children in Tracy and Manteca California. He and his wife, Peggy Linn Aguirrie were married for 43 years with many bountiful memories. He entered eternal life on Wednesday April 14, 2021.
In his youth, he trained in Martial arts and started driving at 8 years old. He could never say no to “corny” 80’s movies or going out to eat. He loved his Plum Crazy Barracuda, taking it for long drives to Santa Cruz enjoying the sunset and stargazing with his wife in his younger years. He never let things go to waste, always saying “It could be fixed or used later”.
After graduating high school, he studied Criminal Justice at San Jose State. He then started his career with the United States Postal Service for the next 35 years. He worked very hard to provide for his family and they always came first. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
His memory will be carried on by his wife Peggy and their seven children: Jonathan, Jennifer, Christine, Kimberly, Pamela, Nickie, Heather, his sister Mary Aguirrie, and his 24 grandchildren.
