It is with great sadness that the family of Jessica Casado announce her passing on December
3rd, 2022. Jessica was born on March 16th, 1992, in Modesto, California where she resided her
entire life. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Kathleen Casado, and her brother, Steven
Jerry Casado. Jessica was greeted in Heaven by her Poppy and grandmother.
She fought epilepsy with her profound love of life and never let it make her world smaller. She
loved to travel, to sing, to dance, and most of all she loved to make connections with people.
Jessica was the type of person who would spend all her time and energy showering the people
in her life with love and attention. Those people included the many young lives she touched as
an elementary school teacher, and those she helped on her missions trip to Africa.
The Celebration of Jessica’s Life will be held on December 12th, 2022, beginning at 12 PM at the
Prescott Evangelical Free Church, and the family invites those who knew and loved Jessica to
attend. Her final resting place will be at Lakewood Memorial Park. The family asks for any
donations to be made to the Epilepsy Foundation in Jessica’s honor.
