James Harold Jones

Jim Jones passed at 74 years of age unexpectedly. He is survived by daughters Tracy Gulcynski, 
Carrie Laird, Saundra Reeves, son Travis Lawson and sisters Pat Heldt, Yvonne Slawson, Laverne Pellanda, Lynn Hill, and Connie Martin. 
He was a proud grandpa and papa to 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also, his life long friends Dennis and Kathy Vann and 
girlfriend Diane Lee. 
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Colleen Jones of 40 years, son Clay Jones, parents William & Ethel Jones, and great grandson Koltyn Blackwood.
Jim enjoyed good political conversations about politics and reminiscing about his army days. He loved bowling, playing pool, and shooting guns. 
As a devoted Employee of DOT Transportation Jim accomplished 2 million miles.

The family would like to invite you to celebrate Jim's life at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home at 1050 McHenry Ave. in Modesto, Ca. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 29th from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. Services will be held the following day, Friday, July 30th at 11A.M.  with graveside services to immediately follow at Ceres Memorial Park.

All are welcome for food and a get together at the VFW at 2801 West Hatch Rd. Modesto CA.
