George Arnold Loveless

George Arnold Loveless passed away Monday, December 31st in Escalon, with his family by his side. He was born April 25, 1933 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Arnold and Mary Loveless. George served his country as a maintenance mechanic in the U.S. Air Force, working on B-52s at Castle Air Force Base. After his discharge, he continued working as a mechanic for Gallo Winery for 35 years.

George liked working on cars, attending car shows, camping, driving, traveling, and going out to eat. He was a member of the Portuguese S.E.S. Council and enjoyed attending various festas and functions around Turlock, Hilmar, Modesto, and Patterson. Most of all, he was a hard-worker who loved spending time with his family and dear dog, Sophie.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Loveless, and brother, Robert Loveless. He is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

George and Josephine will be interred together at a graveside service held Wednesday, January 9th at 2:00 p.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA, 95322.
