Garett Trawick Blount

Garett Trawick Blount, 43, of Ceres passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. A native of Riverbank, California, he was the son of Gary Douglas Blount of North Carolina and the late Patricia Ann Trawick Blount. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Joyce Trawick; paternal grandparents, James Blount and Norma Wyman and Uncle, David Blount.

Garett spent most of his life living in Riverbank where he made lifelong friendships. He was a graduate of Riverbank High School, where he played football. He always enjoyed sports and he loved to be outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just sitting by a campfire. Last fall Garett married Krystin Frazier, and they lived together in Ceres with her two children.

He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Garett is survived by his wife, Krystin Frazier Blount; daughter, Taylor Blount of Oakdale; son, Riley Blount of Waterford; father, Gary Blount of Hendersonville, NC; brothers, Cohen (Cecelia) Blount of Modesto; Josh (Kim) Blount of Livingston, and Jon (Jessica) Blount of Riverbank; stepchildren, Katalina and Canaan Patino; nieces, Hannah, Kaili, Emory and Mika Blount and nephew, Merrick Blount. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday August 19, 2022 at the Assembly of God, 3126 Stanislaus St, Riverbank, Ca 95367.

The care of Mr. Blount has been entrusted to Franklin and Downs, Ceres, CA.
