Florence Ellen Boone

August 24, 1928 -April 30, 2021

Florence Boone (92) went home to be with her Lord after a short illness.

Florence was born in Oakland, California, to William and Mary Brown who immigrated to the U.S. from Glasgow, Scotland. Florence had three siblings, William Brown, Doug Brown (Ruth) and Mae Copland (Jack).   She was proceeded in death by her husband, Ezra D Boone, her sister and both of her brothers.  She was born and raised in Oakland, CA and graduated from Oakland High School.

She married the love of her life, Ezra, on May 15, 1953.  They were married one day short of 66 years.  They made their home in Modesto on Oakdale Road where they raised their three children.

Florence worked hard supporting her husband on the family ranch for 51 years.  She also worked at various banks during her working career.

Florence loved spending time with her family and friends.  She will be remembered for her wonderful hospitality, as well as being a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  Florence will also be remembered for her love for her Lord.

She is survived by her children, Ron (Sandy), Ken (Maureen) and Nancy
Findarle, eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.    

A Celebration of life will be held on May 10, at 11:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.
