Esther E Albee

Esther Albee (Coyne) went home to the loving arms of the Lord on March 30, 2018. Esther was born to Harold and Pearl Coyne in French Camp, CA. She had one sister-Patricia. On July 8, 1950 she married her loving husband, David Albee at Grace Lutheran Church in Modesto, CA. They had three children- Dennis, Diane and Brenda; five grandchildren-Kevin, Riley, SaraBeth, Brandon and Justin; and two great-granddaughters.
Esther worked many years for Tri Valley Growers and for Modesto City Schools as a Teachers Aide at Modesto High School working with Special Education Students. She retired from Both. Esther was very social and brightened everyone's day with her outgoing personality and welcoming smile. Esther was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League for many years. Esther will be missed greatly by all.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, CA. A funeral service will be on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 617 W Orangeburg Avenue, Modesto, CA followed by burial at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA. Remembrances can be made to Grace Lutheran Church and Community Hospice.
