Tribute

Enrico Vincent Vallejo was born to Sharlene and Constantino Vallejo on 10/04/1991 at Brookside hospital in San Pablo California.  He was such a happy baby with a head full of curly dark brown hair.  He was funny, energetic, and loved his family and friends.  Rico grew up playing sports for the city of San Pablo and the Police Activity League.  When he was a small boy, he found joy in dressing up as various characters like Batman, Barney, and he loved Halloween.  He would always wear his costumes and play at being those characters long after Halloween was over and costumes were worn out.  Rico and his 5 brothers would always wear wrestling costumes and pretend they were WWF wrestlers.  Sometimes they would scare mom and dad because they played so hard.  Many times, dad would join in and wrestle with them.

Rico and his family loved to go camping and to the snow with friends and family, and those are some of their fondest memories.  So many memories that will last a lifetime.

in 2002 Enrico and the Vallejo family suffered the loss of Raymond J. Vallejo.  He was an awesome brother and he was fatally injured by a drunk driver in San Pablo, CA.  It was such a blow to the family.  I know Enrico has been reunited in heaven with him.

in 2005, When Enrico's father retired, they relocated to Waterford California where Rico and Luis continued to grow up.  It took a very long time, but the family began to heal over time and started to find true happiness once again.

Rico found joy in sports, football, basketball, and enjoyed UFC, and classic boxing.  He trained to become a fighter and loved to work out in the boxing gym and at home.  His passion was to become a professional fighter, and he put a lot of time and work into becoming physically fit.  He enjoyed jogging and eating right, and it made him feel really good to know that he had transformed his body into such a healthy one.  He was such a beautiful person inside and out and had a lot of good friends in his life.

As soon as he was old enough to go to work, he wasted no time in finding a job.  He love to earn money.  He wore many hats, but his main jobs were in the food industry.  He began as a cashier, a pizza maker, and worked for 8 years as a cook.  His last job was working for Coca Cola as a merchandiser.  He was a hard worker who loved his kids, and his whole family, and he loved his friends.  His friends would come over even as adults and watch the fights and have a good time here at our family home in Waterford.  Good times for sure!

At age 23, we watched him fall in love with Angelina Beltran, and create a family of their own.  Two loving boys, Ayden and Vincent.  The lights of his life and all of ours.  He made us so proud of him every single day and we watched him transform from a carefree child into a grownup responsible man.  He loved to cook for everyone and now can picture him showing up with and arm full of his kids and something delicious to cook for us, which was something he did on a regular basis.  We all spent so much time together at lakes or home in the yard swimming and BBQing.  Those are the times that will be cherished and missed so much!

There is so much more to Rico than anyone ever got to know.  He really was a private and quiet person, but he opened-up, and was blossoming as a young man.  God only knows why he had to leave this world behind, but we can all take comfort in knowing that God has him now and that one day we will all be in his kingdom.  Maybe then we will have answers.  Rico’s memory will live on in those of us who loved him, and his legacy are his two sons that he loved and adored so much!

Enrico Vincent Vallejo is survived by his parents Sharlene and Constantino Vallejo, his 4 brothers:  Tony, Jason, Constantino Jr., and Luis.  As well as his fiance, Angelina Beltran and his 3 year old son Ayden Vallejo, 1 year old Vincent Vallejo, his Grandmother Esperanza Vallejo, and countless cousins and friends.

Those who preceded him in death are now reunited in heaven.  His brother Raymond Vallejo, Grandfather Enrique Vallejo, Grandmother Nancy Chipchase, Uncle Allan, and so many others.

One day we will all be together in the devine kingdom of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, but until that day comes. we must stay strong and keep faith in knowing that He is there for us and that we always have one another.  We are never alone.  We must reach out, communicate our feelings, and always know that God is in control.  We need to give everything over to the Lord.  He wants to take away our burdens and he wants to give us peace and comfort.  He loves us at our best and at our worst.

Enrico Vincent Vallejo, gone too soon.  You will forever be in our hearts, memories, and prayers.  We all love you and miss you so very deeply.

The Vallejo family wants to thank everyone who has been in their lives and who have reached out and have continued to do so now and throughout the years.  They want to thank everyone for showing such love and respect to all of them through this difficult time.  God bless you all.
