Elizabeth Louise Price

Born in Astoria, Oregon to James and Kathleen Graves. She lived her young life in the Astoria area and graduated from Astoria High School. Elizabeth married A.C. Price, Jr., moved to Houston, TX, then finally to Modesto, CA. She lived in Modesto for 63 years and worked as an Office Manager for the Ed. J. Lyng Co. for almost 40 years. Elizabeth worked hard and provided for her two children by herself at a time when divorce was not common. In her free time she could be found tending to her garden or enjoying a good book.
Elizabeth is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Guzman (Ron) of Oakdale and son Corey Price (Karen) of Modesto, her grandchildren Krystyna Guzman-Frank of Colusa, Nicholas Guzman (Kristen), Randy Price, and Matthew Price all of Modesto, and her 6 great-grandchildren.
Franklin & Downs is honored to be serving the Price family. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Ave. Modesto, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Elizabeth’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
