Durant Paul Tardugno, 100, of Lawrence Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., died Wednesday, Feburary 17, 2021, in Riverbank, California.
Born December 7, 1920, in Lawrence Massachusetts, was the son of the late Antonio and TeresaTardugno. He was preceeded in death by his seven brothers and one sister.
Durant was retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he served thirty-five years as a latent fingerprint analysist/expert; a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Brookland, Washington, D.C.; and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are his wife Rena Hardesty Tardugno, daughters Susan Schneider, Sonia Dahl, Bernadette Hreso, Mary Hadrick, and sons Paul Tardugno, William Tardugno, and eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and ten great, great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care and attention provided to Durant by daughter Sonia Dahl.
Arrangements are being handled by Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, Modesto, CA. Interment will be at the Burwood Cemetery, Escalon, CA.
