Darlene Mary Lepe

Darlene Mary Lepe, age 69, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021 in Modesto, CA. Prior to her passing, her entire family had the privilege of saying their last goodbyes. She was born June 11, 1952 in Fresno, CA to George Mesa and Rosie Ram. She was the second born of six children. Darlene went on to marry Samuel Lepe and had three beautiful children and six wonderful grandchildren. Her son, Samuel, preceded her in death in 2010.

Darlene was a fun-loving person who had a great sense of humor. She loved her family more than anything and was the most amazing mother and grandmother. She was an extremely creative individual and enjoyed; sewing, crocheting, embroidering, scrapbooking, and photography. She also loved to cook, bake, and play video games with her children and grandchildren. Darlene was a fantastic homemaker, but she also worked very hard outside of the home to earn money for her family.

Darlene always cared more for others than herself, and will be greatly missed. Everyone’s life has been better for having her in it. She was truly a remarkable person and her family and friends will forever remember her beautiful smile and giving character.

Her memorial services will be held at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home – McHenry Chapel on July 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
