Daniel Michael Delgado

Daniel Michael Delgado was born in Livermore, California to his loving parents Richard and Michele Delgado on September 6, 1984. Daniel lived in Modesto for most of his life; he attended elementary school at Calvary Temple, Teel Middle School, Johansen and Denair High schools.

Daniel was passionate about sports, mostly football with the Empire Eagles, where he excelled as a star player. This love of football lead Daniel to his significant love of anything Oakland Raiders related. There was hardly a time where you would see him without his favorite Raiders’ gear on. Daniel had a naturally strong work ethic and thrived at his work at the Modesto Centre Plaza and in security for Doctor’s Medical Center. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching football, and restoring old furniture to create beautiful pieces loved by all that saw them. His favorite place to be was Santa Cruz where he loved walking in the tree groves and being next to the ocean.

Daniel touched so many lives in so many different ways, and loved by all. His Grandpa Lynn (Papa) Owens, whom he loved dearly, preceded him in death. Daniel leaves behind his parents, Michele Delgado & Richard Delgado (Martha Delgado) brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles and several cousins—all who meant the world to him.

Daniel will forever be missed and forever remembered. Please join family & friends, in honoring Daniel by attending his Celebration of Life service that will be held at Franklin & Downs Funeral Homes 1050 McHenry Ave, Modesto, CA on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Graveside Services will follow at Acacia Memorial Park located at 801 Scenic Dr. Modesto, CA.
