Clifford Lee Murch

Clifford Lee Murch passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2023. Cliff was 71 years old and is survived by his loving wife Patricia Marie, sons Brian Michael, Jeffrey Paul, and Chad Eric, and daughters Nicole Elizabeth, and Colleen Megan. 

Cliff grew up in Martinez, CA with mother Martha, and siblings Chuck, Judy, and Val. He lived with holes worn in the soles of his shoes, walking train trestles, hiking over hills, hitching rides, and making friends everywhere he went. He attended Alhambra High School and then Diablo Valley College where he met his wife Patricia in an accounting class. Pat and Cliff went on to be married for 50 years and live a life in service of God, each other, their family, and the many friends they met along the way. Cliff was well-loved by the many who knew him and enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to his music, and working on a project… or seven. He was a simple man with a great love for people, and was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Giving to others was one of his greatest joys in life. He worked tirelessly for over 60 years across many industries. He was a do what needed to be done man, not a wait to be asked kind of man. He retired after working as a maintenance man, one of his favorite jobs, at a care facility in Modesto, CA. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

A funeral mass honoring Cliff will be held on March 29th at 10:00 AM at All Saints Parish in Turlock, CA at 4040 McKenna Drive. A private reception will be held at their family’s house after the service.
