I was so sorry to hear of Claire's passing. She will always hold a special place in my heart. We traveled to Japan together, and really got to know one another. She was a special friend, a special Soroptimist member, and I know a special mom. We also share memories when she was Dean of Girls at Downey, both when I attended and when I worked there.

All of us at Soroptimist were saddened to hear of Clara's passing. She became a member in 1981 and served as our President in 1990-1991. She will be missed. We all send our thoughts and prayers to her family during this difficult time.
