Catherine Ochinero

Catherine Ochinero, a long time Ceres resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in Modesto, CA. She was born on Saturday, March 26, 1938 to the late John & Petronilla Trina. She is proceeded in death by both of her parents and her two siblings, Marguerite Mangono and Paul Trina. She leaves behind her loving husband Deacon Kenneth Ochinero; her two children, Mark Ochinero and Debra Ochinero-Posada; her grandchildren, Michael Ochinero, Anthony Ochinero, Justin Posada, Christopher Posada and Giana Sites; and her two great grandchildren, Maximus Sites and Grayson Posada.

Catherine was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She always had a contagious smile, and everyone loved her. She shared God’s unconditional love with her family. She truly loved her family and loved life. She is now with her angels and saints that she so worshiped every day. Catherine will truly be missed.

Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ochinero family. There will be a Vigil/Rosary for Catherine at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Ave., Modesto, on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 7:00PM. Mass will take place the following day at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Rd., Modesto,  at 9:30AM with a committal to follow. Interment at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1141 Scenic Dr., Modesto.
