Caroline Violet (D'Anna) (Walsh) Lundberg, 93
Born on March 10, 1927 and passed away on March 1, 2021. Caroline was born in Harrisburg,PA and moved with her family to San Jose, CA when she was a child. She was active in her childrens' education, serving first as President of the El Quito Park PTA and then as Vice President of the District PTA. She went back to college and earned a Bachelor of Arts, Social Science, from San Jose State University.
Following graduation, she worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Santa Clara County, CA. After retiring in 1986, she relocated from Santa Clara to Sonora, CA where she lived for over 25 years. In Sonora, she was a member of the Grand Jury in 1990 and past president of ARONAS, TOPS and Figli D'Italia (Italian Club). She was a dedicated volunteer at Interfaith and active member of St. Patrick's Parish.
She is preceded in death by her 1st and 2nd husbands, James Edward Walsh and Donald Roland Lundberg and grandson, William Drake. She is survived by her children who are: Mary Cooper of Manteca, CA, John Walsh of Sonora, CA, Eric Lundberg (Sonia) of San Jose, CA, Kevin Walsh of Sonora, CA, Caroline Walsh-Snook of New London, MO, Susan Drake of Ventura, CA, Ellie Rio (Jim) of Phoenix, AZ and Patty Lundberg of Windsor, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Derek Ford, Brad Cooper, Danielle Snook, Kymberly Lundberg, Fabio Prieto, Natalie Prieto, Ty Walsh, Jake Walsh, Jennifer Drake Lohman, Elisabeth Drake, Jason Drake and 15 great grandchildren.
A service was held at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home and she was laid to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA. Donations in her name can be made to St.Jude's or Make a Wish Foundation.
