Bonnie Lou Sasser

On June 24, 2021 Bonnie Sasser went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ.  Born on November 24, 1959 to Roger and Sue Roberts in Montclair, California, Bonnie was the middle of three children.  
Bonnie moved to Modesto, California where she met the love of her life, Richard Sasser.  They married in 1977 and went on to have three living children and three in Heaven.  Her chief joy in life was being with her family, making a safe and loving home, and adventuring with her husband. Of particular delight, were her six grandchildren who brought her endless laughter.
Bonnie was a gifted gardener, talented seamstress and quilter, and lover of learning, labradors, and travel.  She had a particular skill in supporting and encouraging young mothers and had come to love her ministry as a counselor at her church, Big Valley Grace.   
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Sue, and survived by her husband, Rich, her daughters Nicole Fondse and Jennifer Carbaugh, her son Michael Sasser, and their spouses and children, as well as her brother and sister and their families. 
A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, July 2, 2021, 11:00 am, at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Rd., Modesto.
Bonnie was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
