A service will be held for Betty Lou Pitts at 11 a.m., Monday, January 21st, 2019 at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home in Ceres, CA.

Betty Lou Pitts, 89, was born August 19, 1929, in Charleston, Ark., to Robert E. Hall and Nora (Harless) Hall. She passed peacefully on January 9, 2019 in Riverbank, CA. Betty attended school Ark., OK., and CA. In 1946, she married and soon after began to raise her family in Riverbank, where she worked 30 years for Contadina Cannery. She enjoyed traveling and had visited 45 states. She loved the Lord with all her being and attended church faithfully. She is preceded in death by seven brothers, Carl, Lee Roy, Carmel, Vernon, Harold, Charlie and Lester Hall; and two sisters; Floy Johnson and Rosey Pitts. She is survived by her son Ronald Pitts of Riverbank, CA., her daughters Brenda Noakes (Allen Noakes) of Muscotah, KS., and Kym Truglio ( Al Truglio) of Ceres CA; four grandchildren, Ronald Pitts ( Rhonda Pitts), Brandi Allcorn ( Dave Allcorn), Desiree Maxwell ( Ray Maxwell), Alex Vergara; four great-grandchildren, Josh Maxwell, Jeremy Pitts, Jamie Pitts and Emma Allcorn.
