Barbara June Ricci

Barbara June (Glenn) Ricci of San Mateo was born in Delhi, California. She lived in the Central Valley many years until she moved to San Mateo.

She passed away peacefully on December 27 at her residence, the Oasis of Stockton,CA. Barbara was the daughter of the late Birch and Ada Glenn. 

Barbara graduated from Livingston High School; the first graduating class. She worked at Bank of America, in Modesto, where she met her husband, Mario.  Later, she was a Department Manager at Montgomery Wards where she stayed until retirement.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Mario, her brothers Edward, Cecil, and Richard, and her sister, Emma Rhew.

She is survived by her three children: Mark (Jane) of Lodi, Maria (Valeri) Radchenko of Valley Springs, and Paul (Nicole) of Woodside, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 
 
Barbara loved gardening, reading, world history, and traveling with her husband to Europe and South America. She also enjoyed family gatherings, caring for her tortoises and arranging flowers.
 
Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She will be remembered especially for her affection for children.  

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19th at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Ave, in Modesto, CA. Interment services will be private.
