Anthony Troy Ward was born to the union of Johnnie Marie Wimberly and Atory Ward, Jr. on January 27, 1987 in East Palo Alto, California. He was raised in Milpitas, California where he attended elementary and junior high.  In 2004, his family moved to Modesto, California where he would go on to Robert C. Elliot Alternative Education Center and received his High School Diploma.  In 2007, Anthony entered the Job Corps program in Utah where he pursued a degree in culinary arts.
Upon returning to Modesto after attending Job Corps, Anthony began to explore and pursue his love and passion for music.  After coming up with the name Young Innocent, Anthony, alongside his friends and cousin Prinston, created a rap group called "The Burner Boys".  They recorded songs and made a name for themselves in the midst of trying to break into the music industry.
Looking for something a little more solid, he later pursued a career in truck driving.  Shortly after obtaining his Class A license and beginning his truck driving career, Anthony met his girlfriend of three years MaRyah Tolbert, with whom he was excited about pursuing his life.
Anthony was a sweet and kind soul, embracing everyone he encountered with unconditional love.  He had a strong connection with his family and everyone knew he had an even stronger connections with his grandparents.  He was incredibly hard working, and even bigger supporter of his friends.  He always asked questions and was always willing to lend an ear and offer sound advice.  He was a true friend to all who knew him.
Anthony is preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Marie Wimberly of East Palo Alto, CA.  He is survived by his father, Atory Ward Jr. of East Palo Alto, CA; his grandparents Ernestine and David Ray; six sisters: Safina Uhatafe of Milpitas, CA, Saporia Ward of Milpitas, CA, Sophia Ward of East Palo Alto, CA, Serena Ward of Milpitas, CA, Samantha Allen of Oakland, CA and Sydney Jacobs Allen of Oakland, CA; six brothers: Alonzo Ward of East Palo Alto, CA, Hakin Ward of San Francisco, CA, Jonathan Ward of East Palo Alto, CA, Atory Ward of Milpitas, CA, Aaron Ward of East Palo Alto, CA and Arnell Ward of East Palo Alto, CA; Aunt Percilla and Uncle James Fowler of San Jose, CA; Aunt Rosie King of Fremont, CA; Aunt Carolyn Washington of Santa Clara, CA; Uncle Kenneth Washington of East Palo Alto, CA and Uncle Lendell Ray of Milpitas, CA, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family as well.
Anthony passed away unexpectedly on the evening of September 26th and will be loved and missed by many.
