Anna Jean Garcia

Anna Jean Garcia, 33, passed away suddenly January 4, 2019 in Gustine, California. She was born May 8, 1985 in San Jose to parents, Paul, Sr. and Patricia Garcia. Growing up four brothers, she was tough and strong, but still warm and loving.

Anna was very family oriented and a devoted mother, partner, sister, and daughter. She loved to watch her son play sports and coach him; she dedicated her life to her children. Anna had such a big heart and her family is deeply grieved by her loss.

Anna was preceded in death by her father, Paul Garcia, Sr., and uncle, Eddie Bell, Jr. She is survived by her long-time partner, Joseph Barragan, Sr., children, Joseph Barragan, Jr. and Patricia Barragan; mother, Patricia Garcia; grandparents, Eddie and Anna Bell; brothers, Nick Garcia, Paul Garcia, Jr., Joshua Garcia, and Andrew Garcia; uncles, Charles Bell and Ronald (Rosa) Garcia; aunt, Lisa Bell; cousins, Andrea Bell and her daughter, Riley, Eddie Bell III, Marcella Garcia, and her son, King, Ronald Garcia, Jr., Emanuel Garcia, and Jacob Garcia; and many more beloved family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26th at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto.
