Wayne Graybeal
December 2, 1933 ~ September 29, 2017 (age 83) 83 Years OldA GREAT Man, Wayne Graybeal passed away on September 29, 2017, at the age of 83, after an 8 year battle with bladder cancer. A TRUE WARRIOR!!! He was born to Ed and Myrtle Graybeal in Buhl, Idaho on December 2, 1933. He moved to the Stanislaus County area, with his Mother at an early age, after the passing of his Father. He was employed by General Foods from 1952 to 1989. In 1961, Wayne settled in Ceres with his first wife, Evelyn and their son, David. He lived in Ceres the rest of his life. Wayne liked to be known as an Outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, gold panning, skin diving and playing on the company softball team. But his outdoor love was golf. In his youth, he caddied at the Del Rio Country Club. He developed into one of the area’s top golfers, playing at Dryden and Muni nearly everyday for many years. He was also a huge San Francisco Giants, 49ers and Oakland Raiders fan, attending many games. Music was also important to Wayne. He listened to the rock n roll oldies on the radio every morning. He also enjoyed many live shows at the Gallo Center with his son, David, daughter in law, Maggie and granddaughter, Robyn. Wayne will be remembered as friend to all that knew him. He was preceded in death by the LOVE OF HIS LIFE, wife Geneva, in 2009. He is survived by his son, David (Maggie) Graybeal, daughter, Jennie (Bert) Bergman, grandsons, Rick (Karen) and Randy (Kelly) Nordell and granddaughter Robyn (John) Berdino and many great grandchildren. All of whom, he loved very much. He will be greatly missed by all. RIP, Dad.
